WCSD and CannonDesign hosted a regional conversation in Incline Village on April 5, 2023 to share initial concepts for Incline Village public schools. Another meeting was hosted by the Superintendent and WCSD Board leadership on May 3, 2023, to continue the dialog. No final decisions have been made. This meeting is an opportunity for the families, staff and community to learn more and weigh in on the options.
CannonDesign will present recommendations to the WCSD Board of Trustees towards the end of 2023. Their recommendations will be based on best outcomes for students and resource constraints, with strong consideration of community preferences. Options under consideration must be voted on and approved by the WCSD Board of Trustees.
